The plaza of thunder dance locates in front of the urban exhibition hall. The design of the square that has nicely distributed stony protuberances is enlightened by stone beaches; the space recalls people of the imagination of a theater for stones. The water wall next to the square borrows the beauty of waves—it creates a friendly space by using cascades of water to generate waves and splashes. The design also makes full use of emotions of various stony materials, which add more poetic imagination of the conflict between water and stones as well as the contrast between the kinetic and the static.
